Hiragana Lyrics was accidentaly created. As fan of Japanese Anime and JPOP you end up looking how to sing your favorite songs, most of the time Romaji lyrics are just ok. But unless you start to study Japanese Language you realize that yeahh reading songs in Romaji is just ok for fun but it doesn’t give you any insightful learning not even for practice. On the other hand most of begginers in the language will become intimidated with normal 歌詞 (Kashi: Lyrics written in Kanji 漢字). So practically when you’re a begginer you have no option than regular romaji.
For a long time I tried to make an extra effort making hiragana versions of Songs I liked more. Usually in notepad files, then in notes software as evernote or google keep. Eventually I realize I had a nice amount of Songs ready to just read for anyone who has the knowledge of basic Hiragana and Katakana alphabets. But you might say there is already furigana and yes there it is but it’s just not the same fun as have your entire song ready to be sang.
Usually the songs were translated until the point is possible to be read or singed as it sounds, as a result they become more like phonetical translations that depends on you point of view (on your listening). So if you as a visitor find out that a certain translation could be better or if you find an error feel free to writte a comment, since it helps to keep mantaining a better quality in the lyrics (be sure comments are read). hopefully one day it can become a colaborative site and you as a visitor can come with your own tranlsations.
Now days little by little new songs are going to be added. If you like the site and have any idea by the moment just leave a comment in this section while I figure out a better communication way.
